Which rubber mats do you use?

Where is everyone buying there weathertechs from? There expensive for floor mats. If i could find a good deal, i would most likely get them.

Bought mine direct from weathertech. Turned out that although other websites offer free shipping they also bump up the price. If you can afford to wait then other sites might have coupon days, but I decided to just bite the bullet and buy them. the factory mats were getting really dirty after just a couple of weeks and I didn't want them getting any worse, especially with fall coming.

Glad I bought them (I got the liners btw...they fit like a glove). Husband has yet to test them out, so his review will be interesting as he has a bit more of a harsh driving style than I do, and spends more time driving.

I got weathertech front liners.....got them for $99 no shipping fees and a week later got a $20 gift from the website I bought them from . I am saving those 20 bucks to use them towards my rear liners purchased tomorrow . very good deal so in total it will be around $145 for the front and rear set. Can't beat that.

All the positive reviews makes me want to get them, might as well pay more for something i'll keep, then less for something that i might get rid of in a few years.

I guess i lucked out, went on ebay and someone was selling there brand new weathertech's black, front and rear for $85.

Can i leave the carpeted mat in when i put the wewthertech over it, will it interfere with anytng, thinking about a swap. I got the toyota all weather mat for free,when i bought the truck, even tho i feel like i paid for it already, the carpeted mat still look new since i put the weather mat on it. So anyone of. Guys think i have to take thw carpeted mat out wen puttng tue weathertech digi liners in?

The Weathertech instructions tell you to take out any other carpet/mats.

It's a safety issue more than anything - you want the liners to grip onto the non-moving carpet underneath. Plus, with an extra layer, they likely wouldn't fit as well, and may come away from the holding plugs on the drivers side. Not good - certainly don't want anything interfering with any of the pedals.

Yes you need to remove carpeted mats.

Get the weathertech digi-fit mats! You`ll be happy you did, and the grey ones match the Toyota interior perfectly! I have them in the front, rear, and cargo area.

Did double take on model of the Weatherech mats - I thought the rubber flats ones were their classic rubber mats and the exact fit molded hard ones were their extreme duty floor liners. I have the gray floorliners whixh do match the light gray carpet - I'd probably go with black ones if I were to buy again though.

I snagged Husky mats for about $60 shipped on eBay. Saved about $40 over the competing Weathertech floor mats.

Got sort of worried given everyone on here tends to rave about Weathertechs...

Turns out, no need to worry. The Husky liners fit perfectly, those sharp little nubs on the bottom keep it 100% locked down without issue and they do a great job of containing mud and water.

Honestly, I can't see what the Weathertech mats offer for $40 more than the Husky liners don't do.

Yup. WeatherTech did not have their liners out when I bought the Husky's.

If doing it all over again, I would still get the Husky's, because they have better coverage than the WeatherTechs--the underseat front seat coverage is deeper and it covers the driver's footrest.

However, I think WeatherTech's design is a little better looking and more elegant. Some also complain the Husky's are slippery, I don't have that issue with mine other than the time the detailer wipe them down. But then again, these are floor liners that I and my passengers are going to stomp all over.

When considering the Weathertech & Husky Liners...I chosed the Weathertech's because they were better looking.

If I did it all over again...I'd choose the Husky's.

I assume many of the later posters are comparing the Husky liners to the regular WeatherTech mats, not the newer DigitalFit ones. These are my pick along with the Husky liner for the cargo area.

Nope. I am comparing the Husky liners to the WeatherTech DigiFit liners...

I've seen the WeatherTech liners on a 4R and I have the Husky liners. They are both good. Covered in mud, the enhanced look of the WTs seems sort of meaningless.

Don't get me wrong; I am not saying there is anything wrong with the WTs or extraordinary about the Husky liners. The fact is though - these are floor liners. Making them isn't exactly rocket science. The Husky liners get the job done very well and at a 40% discount to the WTs. I would rather spend that $40 on other schlock for my truck =)

Pricing Comparisons

I agree that both the Weathertech and Husky liners more than adequate for the intended purpose. Chosing either is a personal matter. I really don't know where you boys get your pricing information however. When I price out the WT's DigitalFit for my 2004 on their website I get a price of $169.90 for the set whereas the Husky liners come out to 2 x $89.95 = $179.90 These are for both the two front and one piece rear liners.
