Which tire position will wear faster on V8 4x4?

I have a 4.7 4x4. I slacked off on getting a full sized spare (5th tire) with original tire purchase, but now finally got one. I would like to put it into rotation where it will wear the quickest, thus eventually making it almost even tread depth with the other tires. I'm guessing my other tires are around 12/32, while the new tire will be 14/32. I'm guessing either position on the rear axle should wear quicker than the fronts? I'm assuming this because I believe more power is going to the rear in daily driving with the center diff unlocked.

Front tires wear a little faster on mine, but barely. After 95k miles and regular rotations my tires are all almost perfectly worn the same.

that is close enough, it wouldn't make any difference.

also, ive never done a 5 tire rotation, and don't plan to start. in the event I ever have to use the spare, it will be for a short enough duration that the different tread depth wont matter.

this is what I have experienced as well.

On almost all if not all vehicles the front tires wear faster due to the extra sideway force during turning.

That being said the only time I have ever seen rear tires wear faster is when someone likes to street race and or loves doing burnouts, i.e. spinning your tires doing a burnout will wear down the rubber FAST.

I read somewhere that different sized tires (even by 2/32) can mess with the tcase or tranny. Happened with my friends mitsubishi. I say just research I guess cause it can **** some shit up.

Put new spare on the Right Rear position. Then do a normal 5 tire rotation, which includes the spare. By the time the new spare gets back to the spare position, it will have spent time on all four corners first, which should make it about as worn as the other 4.

Had several tires swapped with DT certificates, never a problem, I know right now my fronts are at 12/32 and rears are at 7/32, they have been all over the rotation cycle. Never an issue

Apparently my front right tire was the most heavily worn of the 4 when the shop put the spare into the rotation.

I would have expected the front left from spinning the inside tire doing quick lefts in the stupid traffic around van.
