Which TMPS for 2005 with 2012 SR5 Rims?

Hi. I have a have a 2005 Sport with 2012 SR5 rims.

According to DENSO a 2005 Sport calls for Denso 550-0101 TPMS Sensor, but 2012 SR5 models use the Denso 550-0103 TPMS Sensor.

Do I match the truck or the rim in this case? Thanks in advance.

Match the truck - the sensors have to be able to communicate with your TPMS system that's installed in your vehicle.
