Which to splice?

Ive made the decision to splice my knock sensor at the ECU after research.
I just cant figure out which wires to cut on a 4th gen. Can some one tell me please? Ive seen lots of talk of how-to but no confirmation on which lines to splice.
I have the wiring diagram attached.

Someone please let me know which to splice. I leave on a 12 hour road trip in 1 day. I have no other options and the wiring diagram I posted was for a 2003 it seems. I wheel a 2007 4.0. Colors aren’t even close Thx guys!

What exactly do you want to do? The knock sensor is in the engine, hard to access I'm guessing but not sure since I own a 4.7. Do you want to run a brand new wire from the knock sensor to the ECU? Or, do you want to replace the knock sensor and see if that cures the issue? The diagram you show above shows the usage of shielded wire for cleaning up "dirty" signals.

Read the thread below and bone up on this fault code. It's for a 4.7, but the concept is the same https://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-...g this trouble code.,from Bank 1 knock sensor.

The post suggests look for chewed up wires due to rodent intrusion.

I'm looking for the knock sensor wires going into the ECU pictured. Can't figure out which is which by the diagrams - anyone have a clear answer? 2004 SR5 4.7. Thanks in advance.
