Which Wheels on 2003 4-Runner Limited

New to the board. Thanks for putting it out here!

I've got a chance to swap wheels around before I take delivery of a Silver Limited. The sales guy will allow me to get the Sport Wheels for no charge. What do you guys think? I think I like the looks of the Sport wheels over the Limited ones. Any thoughts?

I agree. I like the Sport wheels a lot better than the Limited. I don't like the grooves on the Limited wheels. Go for it!

I just noticed that you're in Dallas. So am I. Once you get your deal done, I'd like to know what dealer you're dealing with. I'm gonna buy a Limited also, and would like to be able to swap out the wheels too. Good luck on your purchase.

personally, i prefer the limited wheels ... but if there is no charge to get them changed, why not

I prefer the Sport model wheels. But, in the end, maybe you should compare the prices between the two...maybe, the Limited wheels cost more, thus be better down the road if you resale it. I don't know if this is true, but ask your parts department about the differences in price.

Just a thought...but i do like the Sport model wheels.

in my opinion go for the 16in sr5 base wheels. With 17's its harder to get bigger and beefier tires in the long run. Im not the wheel and tire expert but ive heard 17's arnt the best for offroading. So if you are an offroader maybe you should look into that...

Dipstick, I'm doing the deal at Freeman in Hurst. The internet sales guy (BJ) has been great.

Resale is a concern but at the end of the day I have to look at them for years to come. In my mind the grooves just don't look right. Offroading is not a concern. The only offroading we do is curb hopping to get a good spot to watch fireworks on the forth of July. We're going with the Sport Wheels. Thanks for helping me make up my mind.
