For those of you with Wilco tire mounts, which one did you choose? I'm running 275s, so tire size isn't an issue, but I want to make sure I don't affect my departure angle too badly, while also not putting the tire completely in front of the rear window.
Great question, also looking for that answer. Plus what are you guys doing in regards to the backup camera?
I'm waiting on my Solo High Clearance to show up, I went with that for the lighter weight and extra clearance vs the standard solo.
As far as camera goes, I have seen a lot people make it very hard and actually extend the factory camera, I went with a much simpler approach that retains the factory camera and simply adds on a cheap backup camera:
I ordered a harness that plugs in between the factory head unit and the factory camera harness which allows for the input of a standard RCA backup camera lead to go into it.
From there I will wire up a cheap-o backup camera and mount it somewhere on the hitchgate.
I will power it using a fuse-tap on the reverse fuse, that way the camera is not constantly powered on. The factory head unit knows to switch the screen to the camera input when in reverse.
This is the harness: (you can find cheaper ones this is the first link I saw to use as reference)

Note that the factory head unit is 6V out, so you cant use the power leads on this harness (unless you get a 6V camera which is insanely expensive and hard to find), you will need to use another 12V source. be sure the cap off the leads on that new harness as to not short anything out.
All said and done the camera project will cost about 40 bucks
