Whining Noise when accelerating

There seems to be a whining noise coming from the engine when I accelerate, the most noise occurs when my runner changes gears (I have a 2003 Limited)
Any ideas?

This is actually my first post these humble forums. I Love this 4Runner community.

Mine whines when accelerating slowly between certain low rpms. I like the whine lol.

Mine does the same exact thing. I really noticed it one day my window was down, sitting in my driveway. I revved it up a little and it was way more noticeable. When I stood outside of it too the engine just sounded like it was really loud. I took it to the dealer and they said everything sounded normal. When I let my friend Josh listen to it he asked me if I had a supercharger too

My 18’ TRD does the same thing. I just noticed it and wasn’t sure if it was normal or not. This video is exactly what mine sounds like.

All the replies say oil pump, power steering pump, alternator, transmission, rear diff etc..*
I don’t want to get scammed at a shop so I’m going to do a fluid flush and if it doesn’t get louder just pretend it’s normal and turn the radio up. If anyone knows the true answer please let me know.
