Whining or downshifting sound when foot is off the accelerator

2007 sport V6 with 230k on her. The noise started around 50k or so ago. Driving is normal but when I let go of the accelerator, there is a whine that kind of sounds like down shifting. I thought it was my rear bearings and had them inspected. Both rears were bad so they were replaced. New sway links, and both axles were replaced. Fluids in diffs were changed and even all zerks were greased. I even went as far as replacing my mud tires with Michelins but the noise is still there.
