White Headlights Bulbs....Any one installed?

That is why you need a heat garage. I can go out in mine when it is in the 20's and wear shorts and T-shirt, not that we have too many nights in the 20's. Sometimes I even crack the door a little bit to cool off. When we build our new house I am going to have drains put in the basement so I can wash and completely detail the cars indoors.....That is going to be sweet.

You will really like the Silverstars. They aren't blue like all these rice-out Hondas you see. They are a nice clean white.

I saw where they make Silverstar side marker lights that are clear when they are off, but when you turn them on, they turn amber. When i get a chance I was going to look into those.

Im pretty sure we are moving soon ( i live with my parents) then intend on building their next house as my brother-in-law is a contractor. Typically, his plans incorporate some sort of an attached garage.

ChuckyD, I just built my own house and I did a few things that are no too expensive but make my garage much more usable.

First I made sure it was designed so that I didn't need a lolly column in the middle of the garage.

Second I insulated every wall in the garage and finished them in drywall.

Third I widened it by 2 feet over your typical two-car garage width.

Fourth I made the garage doors 9' wide instead of 8'.

And finally I put a dedicated 220 line to the garage and then went out to Home Depot and bought a shop heater for $200.

That was the cheap way to get heat to my garage but I think it is awesome. I run it when I need it and then shut it off when I don't. It also has a thermostat on it so if I wanted to I could just leave it on and it would always heat the garage.

It is awesome now. The heat kicks. I just did a rear brake job on my Sienna in there and I had plenty of room to move around and was doing it in a tee shirt.

If you employ all of the above during the design it should cost you very little extra to get a set-up like this.

Momo I would have loved to put in drains and stuff but that would get a little costly comparitively speaking. Also I'm not sure but I don't know if they allow hose bibs in garages according to code.

I did wash my dog in there over the weekend also though. I turned on the heat and then ran a hose from the laundry room outside and then into the garage and washed him with warm water in a warm garage and the water just drained outside at the garage doors.
