White Knuckle sliders

Hi guys,

My first post on the 4th Gen board, I have a 5th Gen and wanted to intrude on over to ask a question.

I'm looking into buying and installing a pair of White-Knuckle sliders. They are starting to make them for the 5th Gen and historically they have been made for the 4th Gen.

Any of you guys on here have had them installed (bolt on sliders) and can provide any feed back about the product?

I tried searching and could not find any solid information.

Thanks!

I've never heard of them, but I must say they are very appealing. I love that design and being bolt on is a huge plus (you can always weld them on if needed for added strength).

I liked them, the design is really nice looking IMO. Something about the way the supports and angled.

It looks like they've changed the design since I was looking at them, but it's still similar. One of the reasons I didn't order them was they were almost $800 shipped with no powder coat. I see that now they're a little cheaper and more on par with other brands.

Anyway, during my search I couldn't find one single 4th gen that had the sliders besides the one on their page (which looks to be the same as the 4runner shown in the new pics with the updated style). I searched high and low, but couldn't find anyone with them. That was a year and a half ago, maybe more people have them now but I still haven't seen anyone post them here or 120.

Here is the original design

thread resurrection...

Anyone else added Whiteknuckle sliders on their 4th Gens over the last year? Still haven't been able to come across any more examples but these are my #1 choice at the moment given the bumpout/top plate AND bolt on install.

Check with Jerry at BAMF (Bay Area Metal Fab). He offers sliders with a kickout and also fill plates for the top. He was working on a bolt on version for the 4th gen, not sure how that's going. About anything you can think of he should be able to do. Just another option...I still don't know anyone running the White Knuckle sliders.

I just got my sliders from Jerry, very impressed. The wait time was long, but with the group buy I was in I knew it would be.

Thanks ASR! I picked up some stuff from him in the group buy too but was on the fence with the sliders. I'll have to see where he's at on the bolt on version. Definitely post up some pics!

When I talked to him in February, he had a couple orders for bolt on and he was just waiting on one to come in the shop so he could finalize the mounts.

I had ordered the sliders for my 4runner, but ended up having them built for my pickup. He was awesome to work with and the sliders turned out great. Will get some pics posted on the forum somewhere once I get them installed.

I have whiteknuckle sliders on my rig. They're awesome. Super solid construction, and very easy to install. Only took me and a buddy 2 hours or so to bolt them on.

Do you have any pictures? I've seen a few but am picture greedy haha
Also - do you have the HREW or DOM?

I can hardly see my phone to read through the thread. What is the price for the bolt-ons?

They start at $460 bare metal. Stronger tubing/powdercoating options range up to $600.

I ordered the HREW because I honestly don't see myself bashing them that hard. I'll try and gather some pics and post them up here this afternoon.

That's the way I'm leaning. And thanks so much! I actually found another user on here Adventure_Copan who has them on his rig with the full top plates.

Spoke with John at White Knuckle too - great guy and very helpful.

I ordered White Knuckle sliders about 2 weeks ago. They should be shipping out very soon so I'll hopefully have them next week. Will provide lots of pics.
