white or black rims

white or black wheels

Well I got new tires put on so my wheels need to be repainted. I keep going back and forth between white or black.

Black looks good but I have a white a scheme of stickers. What do you guys think.

I did this on my phones photot editor.

I'd have to go with the black (or "lack", as the poll states--LOL) for a trail rig. I see white as being on a dune buggy/surfboard carrier get-up (something light-duty). One person's two cents, anyway.

White wheels are very hard to pull off and white wagon wheels just look aweful IMO. Personally a set of the factory second gen wheels powder coated black would be the way to go. Shame that isn't an option.

My stock wheels are long gone.

Those particular wheels don't work in white. Nicer wheels might.

I know this isn't your thread, Riff Raff, but WOW your truck is looking good! It's funny--you chose the EXACT same wheels and tires I was going to put on mine. In fact, other than the suspension design (I went SAS and leafs), your truck looks almost exactly like I wanted mine to look!

I'm working with a local metal fabricator to armor up now. I'll be over at his place on Thursday doing some skid work. If all goes well with the initial fab'n I might have him do all the rest.

The black on black is definitely the way to go!

Be original! I think the whit stands out. If my paint scheme works out, I might try yellow rims.

Ya know maybe FOG is right... Everything old is new again. When I powdercoated my rims black back in '97, everyone thought it looked strange, weird, even evil. Now its passé. Put on the white and restart a trend!:thumb3:
