white 'plasticky' sheet under engine cover of 2014 4runner-is this a fire hazard ?

Hi 2014 4runner owners,

do You also notice a thin white 'plasticky' or packing sheet underneath the engine cover. ?? Basically this white sheet is between the engine cover and the engine itself. The texture of this white sheet is like those packing material when you open the packing box of brand-new TVs or computers... Is this supposed to be there ??? or was it supposed to be removed but forgotten ?? something to worry about as in catching fire ? Ive got over 300 miles and still no burning, and the sheet is still white as ever. Just noticed this today. See photos below :

It's a noise suppressor. Leave it there unless you want to hear more engine noise than you already do...

To the OP. You can easily remove that top cover by lifting and pulling. Re-installing is easy too.
