Who fits in their garage?

Ok, just bought my 2003 4runner last week and I'm already loving it and modding it like crazy. This forum has been great and very expensive at the same time!!!!:lol:

So I'm lifting my 4runner and I want to go as high as possible but I still need to fit in my garage. The height of my door is 79" and I wondering how high I can go?

How many of you guys fit in your garage and what is the height of you vehicle or garage? I don't want to make a mistake and go too high?

My plan is fj coils, bilsteins, 2.5 daystars, airlift airbags on fj wheels with either 285/70 BFG at or 265/70 BFG at.

You should be fine. Are the 2.5 daystars for the rear? I'd just use lift coils like Icon or Toytec Superflex. I have FJ coils/5100's in the front set at the highest level (about 2.5" of lift) and Superflex rear coils (2.5" lift) in the rear with 285/70-17 Duratracs and I fit fine in my garage. I don't fit with my Thule box on top so the wife gets the garage for the winter.
 
You will have to go pretty high in order to not fit, as long as you don't have some odd garage door that has some low hanging hardware or something.

Zstampe, another member on here has a 4th Gen that is pretty tall and has a rack on top as well and his fits in my garage without much problem and I just have a standard size garage door, for a house built in 1962.

Thanks guys, this is the info I need, I have a jeep grand Cherokee that's lifted and its borderline so that's why I asked.

I pick up the FJ coils today.
 
Mine fits in the garage.. as long as i don't have my spare tire on top of the truck... (how do i know you ask?) oh yeah one day a hail storm comes along and this guy rushes to clean a space in the garage for his truck... runs and jumps in truck, goes to pull in garage.. gets stop immediately by spare tire hitting the brick garage wall :happens: no damage to the rack or tire though just ripped the aluminum trim siding off the lip of the garage door lol

So just adding toytec coils in rear will add lift? Can i keep xreas? Sry to hijackbut im about to order daystar lift

yes adding toytec coils will add about 3" of lift in the rear, no you can't keep xreas with taller springs as your shocks wouldn't be long enough to travel the full articulation the new springs will allow.
