Does this mean that you had your oil changes done every 3000 miles (actually less) via the complementary two year/25,000 mile Toyota Care?
I'm at 13,102 on my 2015 Trail. last year we put 300 miles on it.

Pretty much, I also live on an Island and I like driving my FJ Cruiser more.

I have a 2014 with 29,000.
What do you guys do for maintenance? Do you go by miles or time? My dealership never knows what to do.
My last oil change they tried to sell me a bunch of flush services and also a 4wd line service. My truck has driven maybe 5 miles in 4wd total. (I just recently learned I’m supposed to put at least ten miles a month in 4wd, which I am now doing.

I'm on the same island. A 30 mile drive for us is considered far, so it's not hard to keep miles low. My wife and I car pool 4 out of 5 days to work. Her Camry was purchased in Jan 2014, and just broke 40k miles. I keep the 4Runner always "off road", good thing I got a 4x4. Haha

6000 miles after almost 2 years on my 2016. At this pace I'll hit 100k miles by the time it's illegal to drive you own car in 2051.
I drive my 4 runner to work a few miles once every two weeks to keep its life juices flowing and then all winter skiing. The resort is 50 miles from my house and I ski every day I possibly can and still keep my job.
I'd estimate 5000 of the 6000 miles is just from skiing.

Now this I understand. So were the bulk of those before or after your tours?
Picked up our ‘18 in Late April and just turned 2,000 miles. My wife averages between 4,500 and 5,500 miles each year. The Tundra gets most of the miles because of two boys who are growing like crazy. The football player needs and will need the Crewmax space the most, being he’s 6’3” and 235# and is only 15. The other is creeping up on 5’9” and is 13. Both of them are still growing and with me being 6’2” and the wife 5’9”, the 4R just doesn’t have the rear seat space for family trips. That said, the wife loves it and so do I.

Purchased 10-15-16, just over 2600 miles. Usually work out of state, company truck gets most of the use, an older diesel truck that gets the towing duties plus gets way better mpg's than the 4Runner could in bone stock form, usually use the 4Runner when my dogs wanna mall crawl.
