ill stay with the spacers then. i like how it rides now :driving:
That's one of those things. You could install them and say, why did I wait so long or I wish I had my stock bars back on.I have a brand new set of OME torsion bars, but I have yet to install them. .
i was thinking since this lift is gonna increase my CV axle angle, i would like to do a manual hub conversion so the front axles aren't always spinning (may help mpg's too) im guessing this would be a simple bolt on. anyone know where i could get a set of used hubs? dont wanna pay the price for new ones (outrageous)
So basically you want my 4runner? You will also want to do a diff drop to decrease the angle on your CV axles. Manual hubs can be picked up anywhere, but make sure you get the Aisins. There are tons of write ups for the swap.
you caught me :thumb3: i just keep throwing out ideas that i have for it looking to refine them with peoples input/experience. is the diff drop something i NEED to do? would it change the angles so much that there would be a chance of binding the joints?
You don't NEED it, but it does relieve the angles on the CV. I can show you how to make your own diff drop for about $20 and takes about 10 minutes to install.
