Yea ~$14 US shipped is a pretty good deal, but who knows about the quality?

I got Kawell 27w twin pack off Amazon for $35, have two of these sets, awesome quality. Would rather fork up a little more cash than go out on a limb with lights. If they work, great, for how long? And how about the potential for condensation?

The only plus is that if they suck you're not out a lot of cash and already have the wiring done so you can throw something else on.

Have you use a relay for the LED lights? I am planning to install these for the the back up lights through a relay.

honestly you dont need a relay, they dont pull more than 20 amps for the normal switches to cause a melt down problem. so your good.

I am kinda like you tho. Even tho I didn't really need relays I just installed them for all my lights

Ehhhg I do relays, even though it's not fun delivering power to various places around the truck. The stock wiring behind the lights is pretty wimpy. Just my opinion, doesn't cost much to do it properly. And you have the option of relay triggered and switch triggered, so you can use them independent of your reverse lights if you look up a wiring schematic.

Its messy but it works and functional. its exactly how i wired my lights.

I installed similar lights. I wired them in to the reverse lights, so they come on automatically. No relay. Its been a while and no problems.

Did you buy them their website, or from Tacoma World? They ship the same day, and I had mine 3 days later.

Did anyone mention they are only 2.7" wide...I really doubt they would do the job.
