Who re-torques the propeller shaft bolt?

I keep seeing this on all of the service recommendations. What bolt are they referring to? What is the torque spec?

66 ft.*lbf per OEM recomendation. I dont check those bolts for torque because thy are much tighter than 66 from factory.

The 4 bolts that connect the prop shaft to the companion flanges are 54 ft-lb per FSM.
If they've never been touched you don't have to worry, they are so tight from the factory they never work loose.

Mine were off when the replaced my rear diff. So, I'll check them. If they are loose then they get the blue loctite. 54 Ft lbs is a joke since the lug nuts get 80-85.

54 is wrong... 2008 Factory Repair Manual for 2WD and 4WD recomends 65 ft/lbs for 4 flange bolts. I'm reading it off diagram right now.
