Nope. If I'm seeing everything correctly, then only 2 bolts on each side are threaded in the frame and they are both on the front tabs. The rear attach to frame wholes w no tabs and they expect you to insert some nuts attached to long metal pieces that are inserted in some holes via the inside of the frame. It's about impossible to get them started.

Kyle, I appreciate the offer, but w/o a drill, we would just end up in the same place I'm stuck in now. Only getting them partially secured. Thanks though.

sounds like you need a couple of really large C clamps and a drill from Harbor freight cheap. I would help but it's probably a long drive for you since I'm out in Santan Valley

Not sure c clamps would help me any more than yesterday. I had the sliders in place via some floor jacks. The drill, yes that would definitely help.

I appreciate the offer, but that is a long ways for me to drive. I'm all the way up in north phx. Thanks though. Someone offered help this weekend. I could just wait and run it w/o the sliders till then bc I did manage to get the TE trim installed. At least I'm not completely worthless. Lol. I'm just anxious to get them on. You know, it's a kid during xmas!

Ok guys lol..... Soooooooooo I had an absolute blast saturday up in Sedona, after taking the north Schnebly road route down into sedona.

BUT we also did BROKEN ARROW! Holy shit I feel like i had no business up there in my rig lol, but I managed to do BA with my stock height WITH running boards, and while there were a few rubs on the boards overall made it in and out in one piece! haha... Can't say that I'd do again until I have a bit more clearance and either no running boards or sliders, but WOW this truck! That first freaking entrance obstacle into the main trail is looked virtually IMPOSSIBLE to me! lol. I have a FAR greater understanding of what this trucks true capabilities are now. :evil:

Just an absolutely perfect day up north! At the top of Broken arrow before we wrapped up for the day after already completing the Schnebly run.

Funniest part of the whole day was when we got to the top turn around, some mountain bikers rolling through the area who stopped for a bit were looking back towards my truck, which I happened to be taking pictures of in the distance. And I was standing next to them as I heard them start chatting about "Wow Stock 4runner up here, for Broken Arrow thats pretty impressive etc" haha I thought it was just to funny.

I spotted 2 5th gens yesterday, one white TRD pro with a gobi rack and ladder at tatum and bell around 5pm, and a 10-13 magnetic grey with a rack, light bar up top, arb bumper, black wheels (looked like 18-20") at MOD pizza on scottsdale and shea yesterday. anyone on here?

Does it close during the winter? Taking 10 days in December and I'd like to try it out. Plus I have friends getting married at I think Chicken Point in the Spring and I would like to have some foreknowledge of the trail.

Sedona has pretty mild weather. It should be open even if they get an intense snow. It's not a muddy trail, so I can't imagine it being closed. It's very beautiful, enjoy!

Did a winter in Flag at NAU, so Sedona was always a treat when we went down there. I guess the main reason I asked was because I thought at one point I had seen someone post here that it got closed during the winter. I could very well be thinking of something completely different.

You may be thinking of Schebley Hill Road. I know that one will get shut down during the winter once it get's a decent amount of snow. There is also a list on the Coconino National Forest site showing the open/closed status of many of the FS roads up there.

Yup - I think they have 4 or 5 rigs in the parade. Last year they won a 1st place in the parade for best decorated vehicle group. Its going to be a good time.
