@logfreqjeff - No ideas on where to go yet. Something different would be nice... Was thinking of trails up around Bartlett lake or on the north side of US60. Sedona is always an option, but it's a haul to get up there...
The parade sounds fun! It's been a few years since we've went (and we live within walking distance of downtown).

The parade is fun, then they do the tree lighting, then the awards from the parade - Copperstate 4 Wheelers won 1st prize for best decorated/lit vehicle group and they will be at it again this year. We're just going to watch and cheer them on, not participate. We could meet up and hang out!

We could check out Montana Mountain. I'd be willing to take either truck through that. Its kinda long, but super fun and extremely scenic. Its been many years since I did that - back when Cecil was 99% stock still. Its on the North side of the 60, off Queen Valley Rd - right where the Rail Road tracks, about 2 miles east of the 79.
Its in the trail book #56
I still need to check with Megan incase she already has something planned that I don't know aobut but it should be ok.

Looks like I'm not going to be able to make it tomorrow. Need to meet up with my engine builder to try and button up a few little things the finalize the swap plans.

Thought i would introduce myself. My name is Kevin and I live in Chandler. If you guys ever do any easier runs, i would love to tag along. Im just learning how to wheel in a pretty much stock 87 runner with a 22re. Ive been out to lower Sycamore and Butcher jones a few times but am really a novice

I hate doing this but the spousal unit picked up a shift tomorrow so I'm stuck handling all the Sunday activities... which doesn't include wheeling.
[MENTION=123266]NZDZRT[/MENTION] I nominate you to lead on tomorrow if you're up for it. Sounds like there is at least one other and that trail is pretty easy. Hopefully I can get out sometime before Christmas!!!

its equipped with a aluminum demello offroad bumper and sliders, eaton rear locker and bfg all terrains. hope to meet some of you guys soon!

Tomorrow my rig is set to finally make it to the states and since I will be going from performance cars to an off road rig I am anxious to get out and explore, while staying away from and Arizona pinstriping. I was looking through trail books for Arizona at Barnes and Noble the other day but though that I would ask to see if you guys have any recommendations for a tail book that may be better than another?

Welcome. You are gonna love that Runner. We just sold our '03 with the same Demello front bumper and Icon suspension. We miss it but love the FJ80 that replaced it.
dang wish i had that suspension setup. i am on 5100s with stock springs and rear spring spacer... actually rides okay though.
