Brand new to the Toyota Family here in Round Rock. Just got a 2007 4 Runner. I have to say I am impressed with the quality and cannot believe how good a condition this truck is in at 8 years old and 146k miles!

HOTORC Bon Fire Run - Hidden Falls

Late notice as usual (my bad). Heart of Texas Off Road Club has their annual Bon Fire run this weekend. Expecting up to 50 rigs throughout the weekend. Many, me included, are camping Friday and Saturday night with as much wheeling as you can get in. I will say that typically by Sunday, folks have usually had their fill and don't wheel the entire day; normally just a light morning run and that's it.

Cost is only the park admission fee. Most folks will be camping out at Area 51 (primitive; showers, restrooms about a 5 min drive to Area B).

Runs available for all abilities (total newbie to guaranteed body damage).

The the black on the hood was opposite. Kinda crazy that there'd be 2 white 5th gens, built up, with black wrap on the hood.

Cedar Park in the house!! I'm new to these 4runners and will be fixin it up for my sons first ride. It was my sisters and was basically passed down to me, which I will be passing down to my son. Its an 03 2-wheel drive, SR5 w/ 190,000 miles. I'm about to pull the trigger on some FJ's and Bills 5100's and have no idea what I'm doing..Ha! but anyhow, good to know y'all are here.

Hope to catch up with some of you and learn what is out here for trails. I'm not the super-flex guy... just light off-roading.

I might be picking up a 99 limited with rear locker this week.

It'll need a timing belt service right off the bat, so I'm also looking for recommendations for 4R mechanics in north Austin.

i work in Leander...see a lot of 4Runners around. Especially 5th gens. 2 stick out...a white one with partially wrapped hood, and a grey one with black rims, lift, and K9 rack.

I've seen the grey one but not the white one. I'm looking at some Open Country AT II tires and Fuel wheels, either Boost, Hostage or Kranks. I can't make up my mind!

It does. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I want to get. Leaning toward the Toytec 3" kit and some UCAs.
