Just moved to Austin from Boulder CO about 18 months ago, as I'm finding out, places like you've mentioned don't really exist down here.... That I've been able to find.

I'll be in CO next week and love the front range. Planning on doing a portion of Rampart Range rd.

There's a few spots I like to go to that are near Lake Travis in Lago Vista. Hit me up if you're in the area.

Did a quick "beginners run" out to HF today in my newly acquired stock 4th gen. Been a few years since I have been to HF and chose the fenceline because I remembered the convenient bypasses. Turns out the bypasses are quite washed out. Ended up turning around shortly after the mud pit, but still had a good first run in the 4th gen.

as long as your 4runner has 4wd it's very capable. I went out there with v8 4x4 and my buddy with 3inch lift jeep was shocked that my stock 4runner rolled though everything that he went through. So very capable especially since if you have the new ones you have ATRAC. Locking diffs would be really nice.

I usually go on sundays once a month. will post up soon about going.

nice. I have an SE v8 as well. The power is really nice. I picked up a 94 fjz80 as well. Took it out to HF and it's fun too. Plan on adding ARB rear lockers on the fjz80 also for the 4runner down the road.

saw a good looking white Trail at Redhorn Coffee/ whatever that crossfit place is over off of 1431 and Parmer this morning. Keep seeing nice 5th gens in that area. couple weeks ago saw an inferno TRDP, black Trail with small lift, a different white Trail, also with a small lift.

Got a new Trail Premium today. Went by 4wheelparts and ordered 5x 275/70/17 BFG KD02's (those will go on Thursday). I Need to try and install the Daystar level kit that I bought last week to make a little room for the new tires, I will start in the am and see how far I get...
