Who's running 17x9 wheels?

I am currently running 285/70/17on fj wheels that are 17x7.5 with a +15mm offset, and I rub at full turn. I have the overland 3" lift all the way around. I would like to fix this issue and understand that I need to push my wheels out a bit. I am looking to get a different wheel with a better offset, and reserve using spacers with my current wheels as a last resort.

Here are the wheels that I really want: FUEL® - COUPLER Black with Machined Face and Double Dark Tint(17x9,-12,5x135,87.1)

They are 17x9 with a negative 12 offset. Is anyone running this size? I know this will push the wheels out a bit but I don't want them to be pushed so far out that I look like a jeep.

If anyone is running a 17x9 wheel, I would really appreciate seeing a picture. Thanks!!

I just put a 17x9 wheel on couple weeks ago, but mine are -5 offset. Check out my build thread and garage for pictures. I've also get 3/4" spacers on the front which puts my offset closer to -25 up there, but I'm looking to possibly remove those in the future as it pushes my tires too close into the firewall/body mounts. IMO -12 would probably be a perfect stance.

I'm running the same size tires as well. Where exactly are you rubbing? Offset will alleviate rubbing on the frame if that's what you're getting (since you said at full lock). Would help with clearance on your UCA as well, but you're obviously not getting that, but again, too much and you rub fenders, body mounts and firewall.

Im running 17x9 -6 with a 1.25" spacer, so total offset is around -32. I dont rub, but Ive trimmed quite a bit and have a custom front bumper.

[MENTION=5775]digphisher[/MENTION], I am currently running 285/70/17 Dura Tracs on 17x9 KMC Hoss wheels with -12 offset on a Toytec Ultimate 3" lift. I had to push the fender liners forward, completely remove the front mud flaps and, I still have to do the body mount chop (as they still rub at full turn in reverse only). Here are a couple of pics:

Im running 17x9

Took off existing stock 17x7.5 and 265/65 17 and put on 17x9 +10 with 5 3/8 backspace with 265/65 17 Nitto Terra G2 and it looks great, better than great. Stance grew about 1.5" and it sits flush w/ the very outer part of fender flare with out spacers, which in my eyes is perfect. They just look awesome and very happy I went with the 9. 8 would be nice too but the 9 looks as sweet. I think going +10 was the perfect choice for flush, so use that +10 as a good reference point for how you want your wheel placement on body of truck - if you want it farther out than flush, go +12 or greater

Here's mine with 17x9 -12 Level 8 MK6 wheels. The tires are 265/70/17 Falken AT3's.

Are you sure +10 or do you mean -10? -12 would make the wheel stick out further. More negative offset is further outward. Please correct your post so as not to confuse people who want a nice stance then get +24 only to find out they are sunk in the wheel wells and rub the control arms.
