-so i relocated the intake and exhaust to the roof rack...
-sealed alternator with grocery bags (don't flame, it works)
-condoms over the fuses and sensitive stuff.
-AND i even sealed various holes and stuff under the car with duct tape in window weld.

this seems verry crazy but i assure you, im legitimacy try to drive in water UP TO AND ABOVE the roof line.

BUT I KEEP floating! even with my fat ass wife in it.:bat:

advice?

edit: yes i did try rolling down the windows. but then i cant breathe..so..

hmm maybe i can roll them down to get under water, then roll them back up, and use a bilge pump to get the water out!

just like a submarine..gatta love 4runners.

ugh fck im dumb...realized the one thing it seems i haven't done...

friggin diff breather...

going to get some cai piping and piece it together, then connect to diff.

figure a 3'' intake setup is better than those little lines you guys normally use.

to the garage!

Um. Are you serious?

All the differentials need to breathe is a 1/16" ID line. Most people use 3/8 fuel line though...since that's what the breather plug size is.

I really hope this whole thread is a joke.

Not exactly sure if you thought this thru well enough. Even if you get the car tight enough to do this - what are you going to depend on for traction.. No difference in this and just driving off a cliff

You can seal the interior from the outside, water has to get into the truck for it to not float, i can't tell if this thread is a joke or not. This should be common knowledge that when the cabin is sealed with air, it will be similar trying pull a ballon underwater.

Watch this, this is fording, the driver was a bit wet after the run.

hmm..

what if i used a shell from a different car, or another 4 runner, whatever.

gutted it down, and made a trailer out of it.

then used the trailer to fill with water, keeping me down?

remote switch for drain obviously.

R u guys serious this is obviously a joke have you read his sig!? Bumpers relocated to roof? Helium filled for buoyancy?

holy **** finally!

congrats to you sir.

you guys are really nice and helpful though.

:wtf:

Hows that 1.6L B series Honda engine in the 4runner?? Do you have stickers on the side of it to make it go faster? and a big spoiler on the back of a front wheel drive car?
