Why do all the new Toyota's look like fish?

Why do all the new toyota's look like carp heads or big mouth bass? It's the biggest thing I dislike about the new models is the front end look. I dont' want to drive around in a truck that looks like a carp.

Hmm that's a conundrum. You could buy a Jeep. They don't look like fish and haven't changed much in 50 yrs, and likely not to change anytime soon.

I bought the wife a new car recently, and was going to buy the RX350 -- until we went to look at it. It's not just the front ... way overstyled stem-to-stern.

I thought about getting a new 4runner before I settled on the 3rd gen, but they are just so huge and fishy looking now, I couldn't do it. I took my wife to look at their new cross-overs and suv's but they look so carpy. And all the way down with plastic lights pointing this way and that.

Agree. We were going to buy a CRV, as we've had very good luck with them, but they have gotten way too big for her.

Plus 1.5L mit turbo and CVT? No thanks.

The new Civics look ridiculous. Looks like it's about to transform in to a decepticon. In fact all the new Asian sedans look weird with overly elaborate lights and random plastic vents all over the place.
