Why do my brakes squeal only when going faster than 30mph?

Hi guys.

Been pondering this about the brakes on my 2007 T4R.

Now, I'm wondering why the brakes only squeal when I'm slowing down from above 30mph? I just got the 40k mile service done and the stealership said the the brakes were fine. It's the front right side. Original brakes.

Once the T4R hits 30mph the squealing goes away.

If your on 40,000 miles on the original pads and rotors its time for a brake job. You can do it yourself and have your rotors resurface. Front brake pads are easy to change if thats all your doing.

Yeah, 40k on the original pads and rotors. The front right has been sqealing a while now.

I guess I figured that if the pads and rotors were bad, that they would always squeal no matter at what speed you were going. Once I hit 30mph it just quiets down. Weird.
