Why do people feel the need to do this?

I'm so glad there's a term for these types of trucks...bro-dozers. To be completely fair, they're not regionally concentrated phenomenons. But boy do they ever stand out as douche nozzles when all of that chrome is so shiny and you can tell that truck's never going to see a worksite day or an off-road in it's damn life.

One of my favorite tactics is when they come out of nowhere and start tail-gaiting me when I'm in my Golf R (cuz, bro! Yur only doing 15 over and actively passing, so get the **** outtaaa mah wayyy). A quick flip of the fun switch, let that turbo spool up, and I drop them like a bad ****ing habit. Eventually they catch up and I give them an exaggerated sad face like "Oh, I thought you were drafting me because you wanted to race! Now I'm sad because you didn't even stand a chance and I wasted my time."

When in T4R in the winter up here, I just let them find their own way into the ditch on their mud tires and out of state plates...and boy do they ever! Them boys loooove fishtailing and careening off I70 when it's icy! I just wish they could do it in a way that wouldn't cause the rest of us a massive delay.

I have an I-70 story (I'm sure you do too) involving ice fog and a trophy-truck-stanced 4x2 GMT900 Silverado with CA plates, 22" Rockstars with bald off brand "mud" tires towing a u-haul waaaaaay too fast on his way to some dirtbike thing in Kansas. It also involves a bridge over a river.

Nobody was seriously hurt but at the end of it I wanted to punch the driver in the mouth for blaming everyone but himself for the [single vehicle] wreck. Typical brohavior.

I'd make the requisite comment about genitalia size and compensating, but a lot of chicks drive 'em too. Maybe they have small v'giners? Is that an issue for women? I dunno. Pshychology is hard.

Probably one of the funniest bro-dozer mods I've seen is taking a lifted truck with all the off road capabilities of something you'd see in western Australia, and then they stick low-pro tires on it.

Not to mention most of the shiny bulls**t suspension they put underneath it wouldn't last 10 minutes off-road.

They put 22" rockstars and 50 section "mud" tires under it, then wonder why they shattered a rim hitting a pot hole.

In Maine the popular thing is a Chevrolet Silveraydo with a loud ass exhaust and rough country stickers. Why would you advertise you like shitty suspension components?

Yeah, that's confusing I guess, but there would be a lot of valid psychological reasons a lady might want to drive a gigantic fem-dozer. Last I checked, having a small v isn't an undesirable characteristic! lol

So, speaking of psychology, those of us with lifted 4Runners could (and probably have been) accused of having inferiority complexes. I think it's how you drive them that really dick-tates whether or not you have said inferiority complex. Running people off the road, tail-gating, recklessly speeding in traffic, yeah...

I'll bet there are just responsible bro-dozer owners who just like them cuz they're purty and shiny, but don't drive like dicks. It's just that we probably don't notice those ones because they're not standing out as much. lol.

Nothing bugs me more than people who put those huge exhausts and jake brakes on their late model pickup trucks (and lift them normally too). And from my experience, these guy don't tend to be the greatest drivers either...

small hands...

My fav is when say your passing a slower vehicle in your lane, so you go to the left lane and while passing them, in your rear mirror, you see some douche in a huge truck barreling down on you only to tailgate you until they have enough room to go by you. Most the time i just let um go. But if they are really aggressive ill take a pic of their license plate. I actually reported some such ******* on I 5 heading to LA. :fro:

Does this classify as a "bro-dozer"?

I live in Florida n those douche bags in their bro dozers r everywhere. Hence why I switched to my 4runner from a civic. I felt like I would be plowed over by one of those d-bags n I carry precious cargo (my 2yr daughter). I definitely think men driving them either have a lil man complex or r slacking downstairs department n as for the women that drive them, their daddy probably didn't hug them enough so they need to attract attention of douche bag guys driving bro dozers.

Nope....just a truck being used for truck stuff.........but what is that thing on the trailer? :faint2:

My mother managed to destroy a tom woods drive shaft so I came to the rescue its a 2000 TJ HEMI 545 RFE 4:88 gears with air lockers Atlas II T case and a few other goodies
