The mediocre/poor gas mileage is the only thing I really don't like about my 4Runner. Other than that I like it A LOT.

Needs a V8 with at least the same horsepower as my Tundra Crew Max ( at least before I added the T UR D Supercharger).

Because I look at it like it's a priceless artifact which makes me want to keep it forever thus making me drive it less.

The brake dive... the lift helped, but still not the best.

Power on the low end. How much throttle you have to give to not roll backwards on a hill. It might be completely normal. I came from a 5.7L Crewmax, where it had plenty of power, even with the 35" mud terrains.

I like mine cause my wife loves it. Although it is a 2WD Limited, it does exactly what it is supposed to do and looks good doing it. If I did not need a full size truck, I would be looking at a 4WD to mod.

If you look at the price and known reliability, it is a great truck. most issues are small or fixable with mods.

The fact I can't drive up a 3% grade without dropping to 3rd gear and it's never ending love affair with the gas pump.

2 things I wish mine had:

a) 6+ speed transmission (I understand they've probably stuck with tried and true for reliability purposes, that keep transmission is a nightmare)

2) Auto on headlights (Very first world problem to have, but I got used to them after my '05 F150)

Because Toyota does not discriminate and sell 4Runners to cool people and D!CKS alike.
Should be a test somewhere...

The struggle is real.
