Why don't we have an easy weekend mod thread?

Every time I perform an easy weekend mod I find something else to work on, escalating it to a "weekend plus a few weekdays" mod :(

there is a thread already for these mods.

also, the deckplate mod and intake silencer mod is a waste of time.

If I wanted and "easy" car to mod I would have bought a Honda Civic lol.

The more time and work I put into a mod the better it comes out anyway.

all of the mods ive done on my truck are one day mods, its my dd and i have no other car so they pretty mucb have to be done that way. the only exception would be building bumpers or other parts that could be taken off and allow me to drive my truck. if you want mod ideas look through peoples build threads.

Depends on your definition of easy. I did a complete suspension lift on mine in a day. Cake walk.

Exactly. Anything can be a one day mod if you try.

I try to have my truck down for no longer than a day at a time. The only time it's been longer was when I did the timing belt because I started on a Friday night and finished up Saturday night, and when I did the lift I started on Friday morning and had it finished Friday night, but didn't drive it until my alignment appointment Saturday morning.

Anything else I either work on on the side like you said with the bumpers, or I plan ahead and make sure I have everything before hand to get it done quickly.

Because easy weekend mods suck. There was a thread on Yotatech that had some simple spray paint mods and LED bulbs and other silly crap like the deckplate mod that high school kids do because they like loud intakes when they peel out from their block on the way to school.

I have a hard time calling anything "easy". I have learned the hard way that as soon as I call it a 5 minute job it turns out the bolt will shear off, after 30 minutes of looking for a replacement, 3 parts stores later, and lots of cussing I will finally finish the task at hand the next day.
