So I’m doing the math to try and see if a set of Tacoma pull-offs will fit my truck and I’m pretty sure it’ll work, but it does make me wonder ...why is it that both the tire and the wheel manufacturers mix metric and English systems?
The tire is measured in metric width and height but then an English system rim (265 75 r16) and then the wheel measurement is in inches (16 x 7) but the offset is in metric.
Oh and the center bore of that wheel that is measured in inches... it is in mm.
Okay rant over. I’m going to put away the calculator and just go have one mounted.
