I don't know if this has been discussed before, but it is something that I have been wondering about for a while now. I understand the idea of having 'Stickies' threads pinned to the top of the 1st page on each forum, but why do they need to be repeated on the top of each following page on the same fourm. They take up a lot of space on the top of each page, and IMHO, waste space that could be used for additional threads on those pages. If you have seen them when you open page one of a forum, why the need to repeat them on the subsequent pages again?
