Okay, I am not Mexican but what is real Mexican food? I have gone to a few restaurants here in town and a couple in the bay area and they all taste the same.
Green Chile, Red Chile, Corn Tortillas, HOT salsa, Guacamole, Carne Adovada, Enchiladas, Chile Rellenos, Juevos Rancheros, Tamales, Tostadas, Beans, Rice, Menudo, Fajitas, Posole, Sopaipillas, Sweet rice, and so on...

But yeah, I guess that qualifies.... The Ceviche is more like coastal mexican food. When I think of Mexican I think of the stuff I listed above.

I've been to some authentic places throughout California, but I would say San Diego probably has the most. And, I have probably been to Mexico at least 500+ times in my life, and the food here is just as Mexican as Mexico, and I know Mexican's who will say the same thing!

Yup... I said it. You guys have your version of mexican food, but from what I've seen/heard it's mostly that Baja type stuff. We've got it all, and I'd put NM's best restaurants up against Cali's in a heartbeat.
