That's one of the dumbest things ive ever seen.

Im willing to bet he just cut the springs and there are no mods on it.

no way... he has hydraulics in that thing,

he was able to put it up and down... thats ridiculous,

I think thats the stupidest thing you can do to a 4runner.

Its like he castrated it.
 
That guy said that he has an extremely low clearance garage door, and he hates to park his 4Runner outside.
 
they are probley saying the same thing about us, taking our lifted 4runners off road, over rocks and boulders, through the mud pits etc.
What they have done is NOT my style, not even close, but different strokes for different folks...
It takes time, planning and money to mads like that, or mods to lift a rig, again Id never do something like like, but hey, if thats what they are into, so be it:cheers:
 
I don't know who is dumber... That moron for doing that to his 4runner, or me for wasting 51 seconds of my life watching the video through the end...

No, theres a difference between spending money to make your car more capable, and spending money stupidly...

to spend money to make your car LESS capable, to the point you could hi center on a speed bump is ridiculous... to lower it to the point it actually drags on the ground is abusive no matter how you engineer it. Its going to cause other problems sooner rather than later. Ultimately, they spent tons of money to make something LESS capable,

I spent money and invested it in my 4runner to make it more capable, to PROTECT it from rocks etc. and to take it places it couldnt go before.

to take something that could previously drive in snow etc. and then to spend money removing that ability is wasteful and I dont see how thats an opinion. its just a plain fact. the "Looks" of something will always be arbitrary, but the functionality or lack of functionality can be judged and it is a fact.

they have basically handicapped their vehicle. if you said, hey grab your 4runner and lets go to the park and pull up on the grass, it couldnt even hop the curb without getting hicentered!! LOL

I think your missing my point, YOU think its stupid, and makes his vehcile "less" capable, and Im sure HE think we are stupid, for driving over boulders, running the risk of rolling over a mountain.
We all have a different meaning of "capable"
Its an "opinion" and opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one, lol it doesnt make his rig better than yours and mine, it doesnt make ours better than his, they both have mods to make them perform better for what each wants to do, be it drive to the store, throw sparks, be a show car, or go wheeling, I pick the later, lol
