Limited has:
DVD navigation system and JBL sounds system.
Illuminated entry, push button start.
The heated leather seats and some other luxury options you can get in an SR5 with an add on package.
Also the limited has the 20in wheels which might be a positive (or negative depending on if you want to go off road or get all-terrain tires)

better ride (Xres), plus all the thing everyone else already posted. If I had it to do allover again I might would consider an SR5 with leather and aftermarket NAV/stereo, and an ICON suspension probably end up costing the same $$

The suspension and limited slip differential is a bit different (?upgraded?) in the limited.
And the limited has full time 4wd.
I'm leaning toward buying the limited, getting a lift and 17 or 18 inch wheels so I can put BFG All Terrains or something similar on it.

Are you talking about the 2WD or 4WD?
For 4WD....I bought the Limited mainly because it still has the Torsen center diff with full time 4WD.
Also ,really like the Smart Key system,Optronic gauges and the way the interior panels are almost all black rather then the 2 tone.Well , I guess the GF appreciates the dual climate control as she's kinda cold blooded.
Could have done without everything else really!

I am looking to order my limited but swap for 17 in (or 18 in) wheels with the dealer. I have a good dealer connection, but still not sure if I can pull it off.
Seems that the 20in wheels limit the Limited's tire choices.

I went with an SR5 because the only thing I would want on the Limited is the torsen center diff. Every other thing the limited had over the SR5 has been or will be changed to aftermarket on my SR5. For example the suspension, hence no need for XREAS for me.
For me, the biggest reason would be the Xreas and full time 4WD. The other stuff, while nice, is more or less fluff that comes down to personal preference, IMHO. The biggest reason I see to go with the nav system is the larger screen for the back up camera vs. the small screen integrated into the mirror. However, the differences in the drivetrain and suspension are worth the upgrade. Like many people, I am looking to reduce the amount of nose dive and body roll of the SR5 through upgrades (so the dollars may end up being spent anyway) but, unlikely many people, I do not want any kind of lift through suspension modifications.
If I had thought things out better and had a chance at a better, more thorough test drive, I would likely had gone with a Limited. However, this is the most expensive vehicle I have ever purchased (by $12K) so I wasn't mentally ready to spend an additional $6K at the time of my purchase. Second guessing myself now.

I agree with Mike, I went SR5 over limited because with the opt package, I got- heated leather seats, and back up cam, and with the Icon or some other off road supension I think it will be a killer machine.
Plus even Harper will tell you the aftermarket Pioneer HU he has is sooo much cooler then the OEM NAV.
I saved the money and will do the mods I want with it.
And, although I am sure full time 4wd is cool, I personally have no problem deciding when I need it and pull a lever to engage it. Now lock diff or trans case option would be nice, but hey, who am I kidding, im not the guy to take a 40k vehicle to a place where I need to lock a diff...:thumb3:

XREAS on the Limited will significantly reduce the body roll in the corners, when compared to the SR5.
The Torsen limited slip center diff on the Limited allows you to use 4WD on dry pavement. This is particularly useful in the snow, when the road may change from snow covered, to wet, to dry and back over a short distance.
The rest of the changes are luxury items that may or may not be important to you. Living here in Boston, heated seats are a must-have item for me.
I absolutely LOVE the XREAS system and how well it handles and eliminates body roll and nose-dive, even though a TE w/ KDSS was my first choice (long story, but when I went to pick it up the seat was broken & had to be replaced so I couldn't take delivery...and the Limited was on the lot) In the real world I don't expect to do much rock crawling here in the northeast, so the XREAS will do just fine on the beach and for any other off-roading I may do...and I don't think I need to do more than mention how great it was having the Torsen Diff during this snowy, icy winter....
One of the things I originally despised though, and would have had them swap out if the could have, was the Smart-Key. I prefer keys that go in dashboards that I can shut IMMEDIATELY if need be...
BUT -- now that I have it I can't tell you how nice it really is not having to fumble through my waders for my keys after a night of fishing, or when coming off the slopes in full gear. Now I can't imagine *not* having it!
It's the classic cup-of-coffee decision. For far less then the price of your daily cup o' joe over the course of a month, you can have the Limited! You just have to make your own coffee. Sounds like a no-brainer to me~:hatsoff: YMMV

It would have to be a limited for me for the auto temp. I will not buy another vehicle without it. Also torsen dif is a must for me. 20 inch wheels would have to go though.
I actually like the 2 tone in the sr5. I got mine with all the goodies upgrades for 33,500 hard to beat and justify the extras the limited would supply for the money. Plus The limited is a nicer ride but it isn't like the sr5 isn't either. All comes down to preference. Plus I didn't have to wait to order my atx artillery wheels! Woot
Yes, 17s. Just ordered em as I just picked up the t4r yesterday! Will post when they arrive.

Torsen diff fulltime AWD for the win!
Smart key is so great +100! It is wierd to walk up to your car at it lights up and unlocks for you. Startling at first!
