Will 2002-2004 Camary radio work w/3rd gen t4r

I started this thread in the 3rd gen T4r forum. I haven't had much feed back in that section. I might as well try in the audio section. I've attached the link. I'm hoping you audio guru's/elders can shed some light.

i would pass on the stock radio, get an aftermarket one for 100-150, has everything like usb and aux and bluetooth.

The reason I'd like to keep it oem or oem+. My T4R has sentimental value. I want to keep it as much stock as possible.

i understand, but as an installer, i recommend spending money in a smarter way, paying over 100+ for oem radio is not a smart choice, the radios now have alot better features, like bluetooth, usb, hd radio, its a better move to go aftermarket vs oem. plus the harness you can get for 10 bucks or less. im just trying to save you a headache if that oem radio you decide to get ends up dead.

Any update? I sold my old double din to my co-worker with a 3rd gen. Plug and play since it came from another standard toyota radio.

riceandpho, still searching for my double din oem radio. I've been lurking on e-bay for a couple of weeks now,:frusty: no luck.

you might have some luck if you stop at the stereo shops in the bay area, i know here in oakland check out audiomobile , i know they have some stock radios there.

This is what I had to do, you will need to call the dealer and provide them your vin #. They will tell you the stereo part # and advise which stereo systems is compatible to your t4r.
