Will 2013 FJ Offroad Suspension work in 99 4-runner?

Hey guys, i just bought a 2013 FJ with offroad package and will be replacing the suspension (while getting a lift), my wifes 99 4runner would sure love the ride if it is possible to put this on there.

Does anyone have any insight?

Yes you can do it.. but beware without a lift the shocks can bottom out and push thru the top. I still run FJ shocks with my SS steel lift in the rear, actually works quite well and I get a ton of flex out of them.

I went with Sonoran steel's lift, as its all new Toyota parts and it works really well with tons of flex.. ( and I'm a Toyota dealer and I was able to save a few bucks at work).

Otherwise I would get the superflex springs and stuff from Toytec. You can contact [MENTION=21950]sn0wrunner[/MENTION] on here. He works there and I bought my fenders from him, good guy and he can lead you to the right parts.

No. The front shocks won't work.

The only thing I would use would be the rear shocks. And as already stated, only if you are running 3+" of lift.
