Will 255/70/18 rub on a stock 08 2wd LTD

Hi all..I'm new here. I bought a white '08 2WD Limited 4.7 yesterday. Stock Michilins have 52K and are done. I anyone here running 255/70/18 on similar model. I'm looking at Revos in that size. They're a shade taller than stock 265/60's. Thanks.

Shouldn't matter much....it is just a tad taller but not by much. Since it is also narrower at 255 but slightly tall at 70 should be not much difference from 265 and 60 series. The overall circumference should not change much. Your mile per hour may differ 1 mph based on that. I won't lose sleep over it. I did it similar from 265/60/18 to 255/55/18. I felt a little more bump due to the lower series but you shouldn't.

Yep, fairly large difference. I'm running that same size tire, just for 17" wheels. Fits fine, no rubbing at all (had to move the plastic fender liner forward, very easy/simple). I do have 1.5" lift on the front, but a few have ran it stock as well. It'll be a long read, but check out this thread.

I'm running 255/75/17 on a stock truck without a problem. You will pick up about 1 inch in the tire diameter, and the tire will fill the wheel well very nicely. I like the look of a taller tire a lot better.
