Will 5th gen oem floormats fit in a 4th gen?

The rears fit really well. The fronts work, but not a perfect fit. They are too short and don't give good coverage. The 5th gen mats also have a different style hook/hold down. You can make it work but it looks a bit "off". Also, the 5th gen front passenger mats have holes for the hold downs while 4th gen passenger floor boards don't have the hooks coming from the floor boards.

I found some cheap OEM 5th gen floor liners locally on craigslist, so I thought I'd give them a try. They fit better than I thought they would actually. The passenger side fits almost perfectly (too bad they have the clip holes). The drivers side is close and the rear mat is pretty close as well.

Just thought I'd share just in case someone else ran across a deal on 5th gen mats.

I found a set of 5th gen weathertechs, and the rear mat works well with the 4th gen.
The fronts work well on a 3rd gen for front passenger, and okay for driver. (the dead pedal is about 1-2" further back on the 3rd gen.
