will a 06 HU fit in an 03. i want to listen to my ipod!!!!!

If i find a stock 06 head unit that has the aux input for a ipod will it be compatible with the 03 wiring? i would like to keep the rear audio and steering wheel controls.

Also anyone else that has been sucessful in listening to their ipods in an 03 with the rear audio JBL system HOW DID YOU DO IT????

I'm not sure, but I don't think a '06 radio will work with the rear seat audio. Rear seat audio was deleted for '06. I believe there are members here and over on SiennaClub who upgraded to a '06 nav w/ Bluetooth and 4-disc changer and reported the loss of the rear seat audio. Hopefully I'm wrong and you'll have the best of both worlds.

People have swapped the 06 headunits into previous models, but I haven't seen anyone get the aux input to work.

Also I haven't seen anyone get the RSA to have an aux input.

If you're planning to switch out the HU you might as well simply add an after-market adapter (PIE or ICE) to your current HU. It would be cheaper.

the USA spec unit will not work with RSA. i traded it in for the PIE and it works like a charm now
