I think this statment is exactly what MMM is talking about. It could be ruling out this possibility that is holding you back. You don't have to discredit your tire purchase, but if you want it fixed, then all things are a possibility.

I bought a 3rd gen from someone who knew they had done everything to fix their issue for $2000. Some new new parts later, the truck was fixed. Just saying.

Sounds like you have gone through the front end, checking driveline is big money, checking your tires sounds like the cheapest and easiest. I wish you great luck on your quest.

The only reason I say it's not a tire problem is because I have run different tires on the same truck with the same results. My current tires have been road force balanced at a toyota dealer and that eliminated 80% of all of my vibrations. I'm going to try a few friends wheels and tires to see if that helps. I'm going to try multiple options and I will let y'all know.

Yes. I am liftedwith some 33" Duratracs and stuff. I can take my hands off the wheel at 85 (you know, to text and stuff) and hold a perfectly straight line without a shimmy or shake in the world.


Mostly because I got a driveline from [MENTION=78895]DeathCougar[/MENTION] after "lubing my driveshaft." And by that I mean severely overlubing my driveshaft.

Same here, DC helped me as well with a driveshaft. Of course I don't drive a 3rd gen, or have sway bars, my tires are a lot bigger and I can't text and drive anyways while trying to shift with a beer in my hand.
