Will a T1808 render AUX port useless?

I have a 2008 Sport Edition that has the AUX port in the console, but no USB. Id like to mod the radio, and i already put in a T1808 in my 2003 Sport Edition just for the IPOD cable capability.

I dont mind putting another T1808 in my 2008, but i dont want to lose the AUX port but would love to ad the USB port. I dont want to try that "solder in a resistor" trick, as ive read too many issues that come down the line with sound,crackling, fuzzy sound, etc. .

Is there a way I can add the USB port and keep the AUX?

Maybe there's a better upgrade that the T1808?

I can say for sure you will loose the AUX I did on my 2007 with the T1808 and the T1809. Sorry I don't have any input on the USB. I would say a better upgrade would be aftermarket but that is where I'll stop there are smarter people than me for that.
