Will I damage anything by driving on the spare tire?

2010 Limited with 31xxx miles. I got out of my truck yesterday after work and heard a hissing sound coming from the drivers side rear tire. Nail stuck right in the tread. Changed it to the full size spare (in the snow :sobbing IN my neighbors driveway since I have no driveway either..ugh.. and now I'm wondering if I should go to work tomorrow or call out sick. Obviously the other 3 tires with 31k miles on them will be slightly smaller in diameter than the brand new spare... so is it safe to drive like this? The tire shops are closed on sundays.. ugh.

what is the best route to take on this?

it's a spare for a reason You'll be fine. Get your other one patched and then put the spare back in spareville.

Thanks guys. Like I said, I just wasn't sure cause I know the stockers have some wear, so they definitely aren't the same diameter as the spare. I'd hate to cause damage to the diff or drivetrain.
