Will rims of FJ or newer 4Runner have enough offset for me to get rid of spidertrax?

I really hate having to worry about having wheel spacers. Would rims off a new FJ or a newer 4Runner have enough offset to make up for the wheel spacers being removed? Not a huge fan of after market rims but want to get rid of the wheel spacers. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Do you have a picture you can post, and do you know if the offset is close to what the wheel spacer achieve?

I believe the offset of fj wheels is .5"-.6" greater than stock 4th gen wheels. so compare that half inch or greater to the 1.25" hub adapter

as far as i know, only the TRD fj wheel will work. (aluminum)

The 2015 4Runner TRD Pro wheels are supposed to have more offset according to the promotional videos. We will have to wait and see if these will be something to consider.

Personally, I love my SpyderTrax spacers, and from a design aspect, really do not see any safety issues with them provided they are torqued to spec. Having said that, if I could have found Toyota wheels with the correct offset to widen the track and give the stance that I like, I would have preferred that option.

What is your goal with the offset? Just to clear 285s on the UCA?

I'm running spacers and TRD wheels.

i run the trail teams/early 5th gen trail wheels and dont require spacers. The only time i rub is full up travel combined with full left lock in a forward direction on the frame.

I think these are by far my favorite, so how much more to they push out from the stock ones. Just an estimate if you can. My goal is really to get rid of the spacers, I make sure to keep them torqued but hate having that in the back of my mind. Your truck is sweet btw...

i want to say its about the same as the six spokes others are running, i actually couldn't run these wheels and spacers at the same time. the tires just rubbed the inside of the fender flare to much in just simple partial lock turns, so now the spacers are sitting in my garage. and the added benefit of no spacers is significantly less bump steer. and thanks, im considering a build thread but right now not much is happening and probably wont till after taxes.

Like mentioned above all fj cruiser toyota wheels are either .5" or .6" more than the 4th gen wheels. I really think its closer to .6".
