Will this ebay stereo work?

hey guys, first off i just want to say ive been living on these forums for the last 3 days...(bought my 2007 4runner on saturday!!!) and its been very helpful. My question is will the generic brand stereo that i found on ebay work? Will any 7inch stereo work? If so what do i need to buy to go with it (adapters and such). My last question is...some of these say they have "steering wheel controls" ..well the 4runner already comes with those..so does that mean it come combatable with the steering wheel or what?. Thanks again for any info.

I'd stay away from those no name brand ones. Go with Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, etc. But to answer you question yes it will fit. Any double-din will fit. I believe to keep steering wheel controls you need separate hardware. I know Pioneer sells the setup to keep your steering wheel controls but I think it's only for their products but I could be wrong

I would check out this website. Car Audio Stereo - Car Subwoofers - Car Amplifiers and Speakers they are very good and have fixed my problems i have had in the fast for free. I will always buy electronics from them. I got my pioneer from there
