Will this Fj setup work?

Hi all I've been searching the better part of the evening and can't quite find an answer so I figure I'll ask.

I found a 2010 fj suspension with this daystar kit already on it. KT09124BK

It is the fj 2.5/1.5 lift with the top out spacer on the front.

WILL THE DAYSTAR KIT FROM THIS FJ WORK FOR A 4RUNNER? I KNOW I CAN USE THE SPRINGS JUST BEED TO KNOW IF THE DAYSTAR WOULD.

I was looking at doing springs and the Daystar kit for the 4runner anyway and found this so if it will work I could pick both up at the same time and save some $$$

Not to be a d-bag, but first post... http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-g...-fj-springs-lift-info-4th-gen.html#post673352

The 2010+ FJ stuff will require slight modification. IIRC it's the lower eye bushing that needs to be swapped

Yeah thanks, but that post read well before you just linked it. If you read my question I am not asking about the springs I am asking about the Daystar lift. Are they interchangeable or not? I can't find anything saying they are or aren't. The part numbers are different but if the springs from an fj work wouldn't the spacer kit? Or is there something different about the spacer kit itself ?

Ya, I had the FJ kit on my stock 4runner suspension. The only difference is with the rear spacer the order is coil - bump - spacer and with the 4r kit is coil - spacer - bump. Same PN as that one you linked. You should be good to go with that

Cool I couldn't find squat about the spacer kit just springs and struts. I know the struts won't work without some modding. I just figured this set up would be a great chance to upgrade spring and toss the spacers In while saving some cash.

As you probably know from searching almost all of the spacer kits between the FJ & 4Runner are interchangeable. Some of the kits place the rear spring spacer on the top, some the bottom. The fronts are either a top spacer or a preload spacer. Top spacer is easier to deal with.

10+ FJ rear shock require an eyelet/bushing swap.

Thanks,

I found all the info on the fj spring and shocks but I couldn't find ANYTHING about the spacers. I couldn't see where they would be different but wanted confirmation before I purchased. I wasn't planning on using the shocks just the springs. The shocks are the tokico's so I would rather stick with my xreas. Until I can get Bilstiens. The xreas seems to be im good shape for 166k miles. No leaks and the ride is still very good.

Sorry for the threadjack...
Damn, I got free FJ coils and spacers, but I'm not thrilled to find out it's costing me uptravel. I just figured they were the same... Different design of the spacer? Any pics or can the FJ spacer be modified somehow to let the bump get up top? Hacksaw an inch and a half off the bump? Ditch them altogether, rely on the frame bumps?? Excuse to go get superflexs???
I'm kinda pissed...I want my uptravel!
