Post screen shots.

So you fire up chrome , go to Hulu and it won't play. What about IE?

What about YouTube.com?

sorry, I do not have chrome anything on it. IE is there to stay. other sites always say my chrome is out of date. ??? Even on my XP machine. no idea why.

Ok dude . You have windows 7.

INSTALL CHROME. How? Go to google.com and if you don't see an invite to try chrome then type it in the browser and download it from the link. Don't click the paid advertisement.

Open IE or chrome, go to Hulu. Make the error occur. Take a screenshot.

Here is how. From the start menu type "snip" and click on the snipping tool then use it to screenshot, click save then save to desktop. Now upload the jpg as an attachment.

I highly, highly recommend downloading Google Chrome and using it as your web browser. It's simplicity will make your life much easier.

Here's the link to download it.

https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html

If you need any other help with downloading Chrome or installing it (it'll do 99% of it for you) feel free to shoot me a PM. I'd be willing to bet that once you stop using Internet Explorer all of your problems will disappear.

If your whatever reason you don't want to use Chrome I'd be willing to help you troubleshoot accordingly, but I would personally start there. I imagine your issue is that your privacy settings are not allowing cookies from Hulu. IE is pretty notorious for its wonky privacy settings.

guys, I am on my P4, the M72e is just spinning circles for 25 minutes. I can't even get to my emails. running all utilities right now. OK, why do I need to have multiple browsers?? I do not have chrome on it and why is HULU being a problem? there are not even getting back to me. Isn't a Quad Core 3.2 and 16 GB memory a faster machine than this P4 2 GB?? not. I may have to put this P4 back in its't place.

seriously dude. If you can take a screenshot and post it, that will make this easier.

Btw if you have an i5 then it isn't a P4 as these two are not the same thing. Perhaps I'm missing something here.

Why would I consider multiple browsers?

The answer is the same as why you would consider different cars. They all share many of the same characteristics but are different in several ways. Chrome is better (IMO) because it is constantly auto-updated and just is more compatible with various websites.

why is HULU being a problem?

There are probably 10 MILLION+ websites in the WWW by now and they all have different code. We have no idea why hulu is a problem for you but if you post a screenshot then at least we would have a clue.

You also may have good luck over at SevenForums.com - they have quite a few threads on Hulu.com related issues.

I am coming up on 63 and learned a lot on my own. So d/l chrome will not mess up my email or anything else?

We know nothing about your email, so that's an impossible question. However, I cannot think of a situation where it would mess up your email.

As I said before, your issue with Hulu is likely due to internet explorers privacy settings. They're trash.

Now they want the password to my email account. not

Who wants your password to your e-mail account?

Of course you'll need to login to your e-mail again, but unless I am misunderstanding the situation, it's no different than logging in to your e-mail from another computer.

Which e-mail service provider do you use?

Following the link to the google site, it says' put in your email name' then your password, I am not going to give that up.

Chrome is owned by Google, as is Gmail. You do not have to connect your Gmail (if you have one) to Chrome to download/install, but if you do, it allows you to 'link' devices together. This means that if you access different computers with Chrome, you can simply 'log in' to your Gmail and have your Webpage Favorites/ Bookmarks copied across. It will also copy to your smartphone. This makes accessing your personal things very easy. It is still secure though; you're logging onto your own private account.

There should be a 'skip' option or something similar if you don't want to sign in.

IE was actually phased out (well, it's technically still available if you know where to look) with Windows 10 because it is a security risk and less stable than its competitor's web browsers. MS released a new browser to take its place, but Chrome is still better.

A neighbor explained about google and g-mail work. But why it I put in my email, it didn't kick it out? anyway, I figured how to play HULU without a problem.
thanks guys, staying clear of google and extra accounts to track.

Woke up this morning to Windows 10. I started that d/l last night, after 3 hours I went to sleep (11:30). Big difference from Win 7, not bad. still playing with it. thinking about 10 Start.
