window lube

I have manual Windows in my 87, and preferably so... but over the last few months my passenger window has become increasingly more difficult to roll down. Its like dry glass on dry rubber, ya gotta dig way to hard to roll down the window. Any suggestions on lube for a window? It's not in the fsm BTW, but maybe in the military manual? Idk, all I know is that rolling my window down is like trying to put it in dry.... full of hate & friction. Thanks for any ideas... also, I'm not sure if its the inner labial seal or just the windows rubber seal altogether. Thanks again

Hmm, I've got enough "black.magic" left to lay a layer down inside the fold there, I'm gonna try it!!
The rubber seal is more ashy than obamas elbow in november, I'm gonna put on that magic!! Good idea, nothing to lose

*edit* that worked great! Prob solved about 70% of the issue, the inner labial fold (the seam between you and the window, on the inside) seems to have run out of felt on the lip?? With the newly lubed main window track, when rolling the window down, the lip gets forced in (she loves) which increases the difficulty of complete (window) penetration. Do these lil lips lose their fuzz and become harder to glide along? A very difficult post to refrain from excessive pun-age ha, thanks for any ideas, THX

Silicone PASTE (not spray) is what my mechanic friend has always used--comes in a jar like rubber cement, with an applicator brush attached to the cap. Might be hard to find in stores, but it works wonders, and lasts a lot longer than most other treatments.

Thanks Bnut, I used a qtip and meguiars "black magic" tire shine and its still rolling pretty smooth. But we ll see the longevity of it in the next day or so...
If you can figure out the shmegma your mech uses let us know!
Still tho, for me that inner seal/surface seems to be restrictive. I def dont wanna put tire shine on the inside of.my window, might need a newly felted lip piece i suppose. Time will tell

I would check the following:
1)window/door channel rubber seal/felt.
*when the felt goes on the rubber seal, the glass binds
2)remove door panel and lube channel and pivots
*I prefer marine grease, syn M1
