Windows vs. Mac

My wife and I switched to Mac about 3 yrs agao and have never looked back. By far the best computer we've ever owned. We have an iBook G4 and our upgrade to Tiger is in the mail. It came with Panther.

I like Macs better for lots of reasons, but don't have one for only one reason.
My work computer is a laptop and its windows. No problem? Not so. If I need to transfer files to the home computer for whatever reason, I'm worried that I could run into problems with certain files back and forth (not office, just random stuff).

Macbook - black (Core Duo) Mac OSX 10.4.10
PowerBook 15" (G4) Mac OSX 10.4.10
Powerbook 12" (G4) Mac OSX 10.4.10
iBook 12" (G4) Mac OSX 10.4.10
PC clone (P3) Windows 2000 SP4
Networked via Apple Airport Extreme base station/router.
Work computers:
MS Server 2003/07 environment
Windows 2000 clients
I am waiting until Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard comes out (woohoo, in 9 days!) so I can replace my PC with the new aluminum iMac. I can then just run Windows in it via the Parallels app.

I'm sick of having to do destuctive reboots every 6 months with this piece of s$%t windows machine. Almost all of my friends are on macs and they have virtually no issues, other than making fun of me. Macs don't come with lots of junk third party software loaded on them, thats nice.

Sony VAIO Athlon XP laptop, Windows XP Home
The VAIO is from 2003 and still works fine. I'll eventually replaced it after Microsoft releases Windows Vista Service Pack 2.
Macbook 1.83Ghz Core Duo (it's a year old). Runs fine. I dont like how the exterior can easily get scratch. It's like a bigger & heavier iPod.
Personally I consider Cheetah, Puma, Jaguar, Panther, Tiger, and Leopard as Apple's spin on Microsofts Service Pack series.
