Windshield Info Wanted

I own a 1999 4Runner and recently received a gift from our friendly county deputy in the form of a fix it ticket for my cracked windshield. Since I don't have much money to spend, I have been looking in local junkyards and such for a replacement window. Are there any windshields besides 3rd generation T4Rs that would fit my baby? Maybe some type of pickup or other suv? Can anyone help me? I need to have it repaired by early March and I'm quickly running out of time. Thank you, CindyACP

My old one was a bit scratched, so I just had a new one installed for $160. If you call around and pay cash for it, you should be able to find one fairly reasonably. Try a smaller locally owned company rather than a large national chain store as the local guy will have more "room" to discount the job for cash payment.
