Windshield molding reversible?

Before I try and remove things, was wondering if the thick side moldings are reversible? Quite a while back, I had the windshield replaced and the installer bent the moldings back and they were never able to go back. I'm thinking they might if reversed. Just to be clear, not switching from one side to the other.
