Winter rim compatibility (4th gen SE to 5th gen)

Hi all,

New to the forum, great site! I have a 2006 4runner SE (with the 17's) and am looking at OEM winter rims (steel). Since I can't get a straight answer from the dealer, figured I'd ask here.

Will the steel winter rims I get for my '06 fit on the 5th gen SR5/Upgrade Package? I've heard yes no problem, I've also heard the bolt pattern is slightly different. My plan is to trade up to one in a couple of years.

The bolt patterns are the exact same for 4th and 5th Gen 4Runners. I have a set of 4th Gen SE wheels with BFG AT's that I bought cheap on CL as a back-up and they fit no problem.

The OEM bolt pattern of 2006 and the 5th gen are both 6x139.7.
